I'm glad I did, too, since I really loved the setting and the characters.<br /><br />I'm looking forward to reading The Janus Stone when it's available in the US. I was glad I did and at times didn’t even notice the tense. <br /><br />I'm not surprised that she likes Collins either as parts of the book reminded me of The Moonstone, in which Rosanna Spearman drowns in quicksand on the marshes and there is a remarkable similarity between the names of Sergeant Cuff (in The Moonstone) and Sergeant Clough (in The Crossing Places).BooksPleasehttp://www.booksplease.orgnoreply@blogger.com
