November's booklist

This month hasn't been a good one for posts - there are quite a few unreviewed books in this list. The Madeleine l'Engle books will all be reviewed together when I've finished the quintet that make up The Wrinkle in Time, so I don't feel too guilty about those, but I do want to catch up on some of the others, which are too good to pass over. I may have to do a very untidy batch review, and try to Do Better in December - but then everyone knows what December is like!

  1. December is sort of crazy isn't it! I'm feeling overwhelmed myself. For some reason, I thought that when my daughter went to school in September I'd have more time for posting but the opposite has happened. Perhaps the tides will change in January. I wonder.

  2. I seem to remember that things did eventually settle down into a routine when my sons went to school, but I can't recall having much spare time. I was making butter and bread most days, so I was quite busy...the year they were both at our village school was rather nice, they were only across the road from home.

  3. What, a long list of books read for November! I see you are currently reading Oryx and Crake. I'll be interested to hear what you think about it when you are done so be sure to review that one!

  4. Simon, I'm just clearing a backlog before I write a post about Miss Hargreaves - it was a joy from page one!

  5. Stefanie - I promise to review Oryx and Crake. I started it once before and got stuck, but will definitely finish it this time. I quite often find Atwood takes me two attempts.
